[Portraits of my] holocene holiday
Global climate collapse beckons a future where humans are forced to normalise disasters and catastrophize the normal. With a growing dissonance between people and their environment, social intimacy is left as the overarching trait that binds humanity together. We will design six hybrid-digital portraits that aim to express forms of human intimacy within the context of environmental decay - broadening the viewers sense of what it feels like to exist in a time of the holocene extinction.
From september 2022 until februari 2024, Zak Lennard and Charlotte Gillain will collaborate at the Design Academy Eindhoven.
Part of Reunions 24,50 exposition in Sydhaven, Copenhagen from Januari 2024- March 2024.
